He definitely is rusty & needs time. Don’t give up on him yet

Two things summed up his cameo today -

1. Damning that If he had started the game instead of Cherki we would not have won it. And,
2. Erling had an amazing bit of centre forward play taking on their entire defence to pass a nice ball to him and he lost possession cheaply. Erling was not happy - to compound it he just stood still waving his arms as they broke away.

He has a lot to do to get fans back on his side - we can always forgive errors but not if you keep acting like a diva. The very best players in the world are the ones who have both amazing skill and be humble enough to work hard for the team. Hope he sorts it out otherwise he will not have a good career with us.

It must be harrowing for him to be so out of form and making little effect on the performances.
I do feel for him, but football is a brutal sport. You deliver the goods or you are gone.
He should be given this season to try and make improvements.
I'm gonna lay off him for a while now.
He knows what he needs to do.
