This guy must have a clause in his contract re playing mins / percentage. Regardless of how he plays, he seems to get picked. Definitely not there on merit. And trying to gee up the crowd when he is such a lazy / feeble player just takes the biscuit !

And if so, on what basis. What are yous seeing that we aren't. The lad is beyond shite.

Had a third of the pitch to push the ball in to and beat the full back tonight and fouled himself.

I honestly watch local grass roots wingers who would be better than him and full backs that would stop him.
 
hopefully that performance is him playing himself out of the squad...we have seen int he past that sometimes when players are given chances and they continually turn in dire performances Pep eventually gives up on them and leaves them out altogether....

Hopefully this happens with him now - him and his agent wont have the patience and he puts in a transfer request in the summer.

We could be even more brutal and put him out on loan in the winter transfer window but I doubt anyone at the club has the balls to do it

This lad needs time and support. He barely speaks a word of English and he’s struggling for consistent form. Fuck the Spurs shit, it’s gone and is history, he’s a City player and the ‘once a Blue, always a Blue’ chant should be our attitude with him when he needs us to get behind him.

He isn't brilliant but hasn't been totally shit for us either. Was definitely worth taking a gamble with. Especially with Spurs interest.

It’s a terrible trait that both he and Grealish have. Someone has convinced them that winning a free-kick is as important as scoring.
 
It’s a long time since I’ve been so totally pissed off with a City player but this guy is it I can’t see what Pep sees in him he hasn’t got anything, must be the worse Brazilian to start so many games in the PL Tonight once again he was absolutely wow full didn’t do one thing of merit yet he survive the 5 subs yeah, some who went off deserved to but, this guy was absolutely the worst on the pitch again. To think we turned down the spuds bid and gave him a new contract He surely can’t be Brazilian we should demand a DNA test

I am not suggesting he has been outstanding and he does lack that consistency there have been decent performances which have been mentioned too despite the lack of production.

The main issue is him being in the team makes us look so unbalanced. Example tonight when they were breaking away he was trying to be like Doku and drift about but problem is he neither closes them down or finds the right position to start our attack.

He is the typical luxury player without the lux - whereas that's ok if you score or create a lot of goals when you do neither he looks bad.

In the past his performances would have resulted in a spell in the reserves but that doesn't happen now. I'm sick to death of him getting minutes ahead of others to try and find some sort of form.

I think he's got games because Pep knows he doesn't get injured and probably looks ok in training but for me 6 maybe 7 decent games in 50+ appearances doesn't cut it and I hope Pep gets angry and sits him for a while. He looks and acts arrogant - saw it again with Nico after their second goal - Savinho lazily left his man who proved key to the build up.

And for those feeling sorry for him - remember this guy earns more in a week than most in a year and lives a very luxurious lifestyle.
