26 | Savinho - 2025/26

First half he was the brightest amongst the dullest of sparks in attack so I get why he was the only one to remain on, second half he was the worst of a bunch just as bad. A bad time to be the current whipping boy when the entire team and management put in the worst performance in recent memory.

You could fuck him off to the championship and he still wouldn’t pull any trees up. Never seen a player so out of his depth.

If we saw effort there wouldn’t be half the criticism he’s getting but it’s the fact he’s shit and also doesn’t even work a sweat up.

Only looks interested if everything goes his own way, that’s just not how it works at the top level.

Like someone said before he’s a waste of a locker and a spot for an academy kid to come through.

This attitude and nonchalance he displayed; I don't think it will be accepted by the staff.

I am not gonna slag him off here or groan at him at games anymore.

The lad must be aware of many fams frustrations so not gonna pile on more, what I will do is say how the club are doing this to him and potentially ruining a decent player by the actions of putting him in this position

If they truly believe he will become a world star, they need to remove him from this pressure and start again his progression, be it a loan or more dedicated training session.

Even if he’s going through a bad run of form and confidence (and I’ve tried to back him this season), he didn’t work anywhere fucking near hard enough last night. He’s also a diver, far too soft.

The new contract was a consequence of rejecting the bid. It was inevitable. You can’t reject a £50m+ bid for a player and then continue to pay him like a £20m player. Like it or not (and I don’t), it just doesn’t happen in football. As soon as that bid was rejected, his agent would have been drafting an update to his contract with many more zeros on it and the club would have known it was winging its way over. We fans shouldn’t be surprised. The exact same thing happened with Rico and it will happen with anyone else we reject bids for. It’s mental but that’s football.

His attitude is what grates me,he loses the ball and just strolls back.

The most intensity he shows is when he wins a corner and throws his arms up to the crowd. Other than that he’s a laboured, lazy player with no real output.

This club should be having players like Sterling, Sane, Mahrez - exciting, threatening, goal scoring, skilful players out wide - but we’re stuck with him who is none of those things.

The sooner we get a goalscoring winger in the side the better. It should relax the pressure on Haaland. The above players were offering 15/20 goals and assists a season with the potential to easily get more.

Marmoush would be good out there IMO and he definitely deserves a chance more so than Savinho. Purely because he’s direct and a good finisher. And faster. And just generally a better option attacking wise. Works harder defensively too and in the press.

Semenyo? Olise would be the dream but likely unobtainable unless he has a release clause and actually fancies a change.

The lad is clearly not upto the required level. He should be nowhere near the squad, but hes not picking himself. I'd almost feel sorry for him if he wasn't getting paid a fortune. If Spurs did indeed bid anything like the numbers mentioned, turning it down was ridiculous. However giving him a new contract was frankly criminal.
