Last year he showed some good potential the thing that sticks in my mind is since the Spurs bid (45 never 70) his performances have fallen away - only against Dortmund has he looked good.

He needs time away from the team but Pep keeps putting him out there and his form has continued to fall. If only we had reserves like the old days for a player to get form and confidence. I don’t think this is because of the spurs interest though. It’s his attitude and performances since. If he left or stayed, I wasn’t fussed either way (I expect like many fans). Agreed. We don't need any more attacking players. We need an Anderson or Guimares.I did put this in the post match thread but he was unfortunate in not having an assist just before Fulham being gifted a life line. I am not suggesting he is irreplacable but the likes of Semenyo isn't any better for what we require either.
