Which is ok, need options off the benchHis form has certainly improved of late, however, Semenyo ( when he signs) and Doku will be our first choice wingers.

You need 25 players with what could be 66 games or so in all comps.. starting 11 is just a part of it now.His form has certainly improved of late, however, Semenyo ( when he signs) and Doku will be our first choice wingers.
He would start every domestic cup game except maybe the semis and final; and potentially some of the easier champions league games. Plus fill in if one of the other 2 is injured + impact sub. Not a bad role at all given we play 60+ games in a seasonYou need 25 players with what could be 66 games or so in all comps.. starting 11 is just a part of it now.
Unless they too are in for Semenyo? Hope not.I'm wondering if the move to spurs is back on, what with Johnson leaving spurs, us getting Semenyo, and Savinho getting excessive (for his levels at the moment) game time from Pep.
I think we can ignore spurs as far as this transfer goes, that's not to say he's definitely coming here of course!Unless they too are in for Semenyo? Hope not.
I actually reckon Spurs will come back in for him.
They were in the mix for Semenyo and obviously rejected. They have just agreed a fee with Palace for Johnson.
Let’s be honest his performances don’t match that of a 70m player. I think if we can get that we are laughing.
Yes he has potential but how many players have been moved on because they aren’t ready now.
He has looked better last few games.
We definitely need him to play minutes so others can rest but it’s a real backwards way of looking at his position here.We not selling him and we need him! He is 21 and now we getting Semyno who is the experience winger Savino can ease backin to our squad

He doesn’t really offer anything.
I agree that he’ll stay.
The more he plays the better he’ll get and more confident. He offered something of the bench last 3/4 games his long cross pass to Haaland ended with pressure from us in Forest half that lead to a corner then another corner where Cherkie scored

I stand by my point but happy to support him. In reality he's going to be what 5th option now behind Doku, Cherki, Foden and Semenyo.'He doesn't really offer anything.'
Sorry, but that's not true and such a negative way of looking at one of the squad's youngest players.
He's had a slow start to this season but that's no need to write him off. Pep rates him so I imagine he's working hard to improve behind the scenes and his last few cameos have been promising.
Having another goalscorer in the team will benefit him, as ultimately his biggest strength is creating chances for others.
I guess he's 5th choice if we have a fully fit team and we're sticking to the same formation structure. But if we're looking for genuine width and an alternative system he suddenly jumps up the list. Hence why he's having a great impact as a sub with licence to go 1v1 and take us up the pitch.I stand by my point but happy to support him. In reality he's going to be what 5th option now behind Doku, Cherki, Foden and Semenyo.
I just think his value is a little odd. If someone was to bid 70m for a 5th choice why wouldn't you take it. Thats the same for any club.
