Joined Sunderland on loan until January.

Yet to play a game for us so getting some mins after her injury nightmare is great. Really interested to see how she gets on as she was very highly rated in Ireland
 
Really surprised shes gone given we havent brought another LB in but Usbderland will be a good place for her to get minutes if they play. Theyre one of the favourites to come up this season and WSL2 should be pretty competitive this season with up to 3 promotion spots up for grabs.

Yeah those were my thoughts that it leaves us a bit light but I’d imagine if Ouahabi wasn’t available we’d see Kerstin move to left back and Wienroither (assuming Shimizu leaves on loan) at right back and Layzell/Prior as subs for RB.

Kerstin did well at LB last year and Prior did okay at RB. Not ideal we haven’t brought in another LB but I’d rather O’Hanlon go out on loan

She's only there for the first half of the season.

As we've only got 14 games in total until then she wasn't likely to get minutes.

We can review the situation in January.

Wienroither can play left-back and Casparij has covered there before too (not to mention Greenwood).

Yeah defo and theyre all ok there. Its just a bit of a bug bear of mine when I see the words "can" play a fullback position. Its such a specialist role and I think its so much better to have players who specialise in those postions playing there (as you can imagine, our men's sideboard had me tearing my hair out over this ha)
