I suspect that had the rest of the back line been more settled this season we’d have seen more of him. With the problems at centre-back and the cycling of our various left-backs I think Pep has leaned on Walker as a stable element at the back

What is the point in buying another player never mind a 60 mill fullback when you can't play him when you have 2 games in 3 days.

Its not like hes been awful. He did the same with Danilo as well. Why buy a player when you don't want to play them and waste all that money. It really is infuriating. Especially when you burn Walker out and he continually makes mistakes.

Can’t blame the lad. There’s no way he came here to play scene fiddle to that headless chicken, Walker. He’s had next to no game-time, in a team that has been struggling. Hardly bodes well for him.

Would be a shame if it doesn't work out for him here as I think he's good enough to be our first choice, he just needs a run in the team and time to adapt. I think Pep is in an awkward situation where he can't drop an underperforming Walker due to loyalty from the last two seasons and he probably doesn't want to rotate them because of an already unstable defence.
