Looks like a streak player, rather than being inconsistent. He has runs of games where he’s shite, followed by runs of games where he’s brilliant. He’s rarely just alright.

In the last month he’s been shite.
 
Has to be him or walker in the big games, he's not a left back. For PSG, walker is the first name on the sheet with mbappe's pace so he will have to bide his time. Probably plays against Chelsea and in with a shout for a potential final spot should we beat PSG so there's still plenty for him to do this season
 
Could Cancelo take on Fernandinho's role as a box to box midfielder? Coming from defence he already knows how to break up play and the way Pep plays him from right back to midfielder, I think he could probably learn the role and make it his own.

We have told him to play like a traditional defensive RB. Pointless. Might as well play Walker there every game if we are just wanting someone to defend and pass to a CB.
 
Second time he's been caught out of position which had led to a goal.. It took one pass to get in over on his side constantly. Regressed back to the mean it seems, unfortunately.
