What is Nunes if hes not a RB. Close to double the amount of games at City as a RB than midfield.

Also, just to clarify, I am a big fan of Nunes. my post wasn't a dig at anyone saying hes doing well, its more those who are nitpicking at his game as if any of Livaremento, Hakimi or X or Y that many on here want to sign has a perfect 90mins every week.

Filling in by making more apps there than anywhere else for City and cementing himself as probably the best in his position in the league. Let’s hope he keeps filling in.

Positions like this matter so little in high end football, all that matters is your qualities.

He is fast, strong, and can whip in a great cross.

And while one may argue his midfield ball control isn't elite enough at the Pedri, Bernie, Or Foden level that we may require, as a fullback, his ball control is top tier.

Plus the way he can carry a ball is better than most fullbacks in the world.

He is literally perfectly fit for the role.

Over the last 12-18 months, he must have a shout as our most improved player. Granted, he was starting from a pretty low point, but he's putting in pretty consistent performances now. To the point where you'd have to wonder if getting in a RB next month is the priority it would have been last january.

No he used to be a midfielder he’s now a right back, an excellent one at that. Sometimes players change their positions they don’t have to be what they started as for life.
