After a Manchester derby bore draw and a disappointing result in the FA Cup semi-final, David Mooney is joined by Goal.com's Sam Lee and Gaz, Twitter's @burnagedaydream, to discuss Manchester City's week. We're asking if the Blues have had a run of bad refereeing calls in the big games, including in the extra time defeat at Wembley, and we're looking at how Pep Guardiola's side weren't able to cope when the better teams have sat deep to defend. We pick the bones out of the (few) talking points from Thursday's game - finding out who's better off with the point. Elliot Eastwick asks if the manager's first season has been a failure or not, while we also look ahead to the match with Middlesbrough on Sunday. Howard Hockin's looking at the City fans at Wembley, the atmosphere at the Etihad, and how the sport is run. We also squeeze in some talk on Vincent Kompany's return, Sergio Aguero's performances, and on video technology.

Glad you enjoyed the show - and we can only apologise for the background noise. We're in public, so can only do so much, and it's a show that's been unfunded, done on goodwill for seven-and-a-half years in a radio studio. We've had to make do a lot this season because we've lost access to that studio on a regular basis.

One of the aims of being funded through Patreon is being able to get studio time elsewhere or to be able to set up a small studio at a convenient place for us to record at. Right now, there's not enough in the monthly kitty to do that.

It's a free show that's still pretty damn close to being like a radio broadcast rather than a Skype recording - but, of course, we'd like to get back to the radio-quality broadcast again asap. Any help people can give through the Patreon site is gladly received - and there's an extra shows as a reward for those that do help, too. :-)
