Just wondering if people have clubs they support in other leagues or even just other clubs in Europe they feel a particular "soft spot" towards. It would be interesting to understand peoples reasons and if there are any other clubs with similar history/cultures/colors/fans that City supporters tend to gravitate toward above others.

I can't stand 'ragish' clubs like Bayern, Juventus, AC Milan.

I feel a bit of a soft spot for PSG because they have followed a similar trajectory to us in recent years and have similar backing (albeit from Qatar rather than UAE). Admittedly I don't know a great deal about their fan culture.

I've enjoyed Atletico, Dortmund and Wolfsburgs recent successes in their respective leagues but I can't honestly say I really 'follow' them consistently even as a secondary club.

No room for a second team ... Manchester City Is my one and only love ... Anything other than that doesn't cut it for me

Espanyol. Simply because I hate Messi and Barca. Would rather Tranny and Madrid win la Liga than that midget. But they just threw the towel in in that 6-0 hammering that kicked off the same time as the Palace match. Sold Sergio Garcia to a Qatar club *weep*. Now they have to rely on Caicedo up top

PSG are a right-wing and immigrant club at the same time so it would be strange for me to say I would support them like you sort of do but they are really playing some exciting football with Ibrahimovic et al.

Quite like Odense in Denmark as my mate lives there.

Also look out although not in Europe for CD Colon in Argieland as the name gives me a smile.

I was a Chelsea fan before 2008 so they'll always have a place in my heart

Freiburg in the south west of Germany
My brother has a season ticket there and when I've visited during the football season, I've always tried to take in a game

Two seasons ago, they needed to win their last match to qualify for the Champions league
Last season, they needed to win their last match to avoid relegation and they got beat

Being a City supporter, I have to suffer my football punishment somewhere

Always keep an eye out for FC Mainz05 results as I used to live nearby. Plus after years of believing my ancestors came from Dresden I was looked at their results but gowever have recently found out we originate from the Frankfurt area. which sort of conflicts me following Mainz as they are geographical rivals
