He didn't, Howard made a complete balls of it. Was terry credited with the goal? Whoever put the ball in the box should be credited with the goal.
??? Definitely Terrys goal?

Really? I'll have to look for a replay from a different angle, all the replays they showed here made it appear that he never touched it and howard basically threw it into his own net. Anyone have a gif?
Just done a quick search and I've changed my mind - Lampard goal.

These were my thoughts last night.
Just been looking at next week ends fixtures..
If, City win the league cup say at 4-00pm next Sunday, and I really hope they do, they may be in 4th position in the league after Chelsea away at Fulham ,Arsenal away at Stoke and Liverpool away at Southampton . If all 3 win then Chelsea will have 63 points, Arsenal 62 , Liverpool 59 with City on 57.
We will have 2 games in hand but we have to play away at Hull – won’t be easy – and obviously at Rags , Everton and Liverpool. With our Champs league game(s) at Barca and our continuing run in the FA Cup
Do any of you think we will finish in 4th at the end of the season.? Me – always a pessimist!!.
Today I am more optimistic.........We are City----we will fight to the end
Games in hand at the moment are Sunderland and villa at home.6 points hopefully.have a feeling this title race will go to the last day again although we are capable of winning it before then.

Keep away from the injuries that have followed us all season & why can't we do the domestic treble. I'm afraid to say it but the champs league I would play a weakened team. But who knows we did it at Bayern.

At the end of the day, Chelsea can get 93pts, we can get 93pts, Arsenal can get 92pts, Liverpool 89.

So we just aim for our maximum points target and if other teams drop points we get a little bit of leeway.

Hopefully a cup win and semi-final will be a confidence boost to the team, and knocking the CL on the head will keep our midweek's slightly cleaner, and we also end up putting some nice home games in the midst of some tough away's, allowing us to try and keep momentum up, maybe the players would prefer 2 league games a week to keep momentum rather than maybe than having to wait all week to get over a disappointing result.

Ultimately though we have to keep everyone fit or we'll slip up.

I have a feeling our progress in the Cups will ultimately cost us the league.

Having THREE games in hand is not a good thing at all. Points on the board is far better.

We all know that Hull away should be three points, therefore it won't be. It'll be a ball ache of a game. I'm saying nothing about Sunderland at home after 2011-12 and it coming after a cup final where anything could happen. Oh, and Villa have already beaten us this season.

It'll be some achievement if we do win the league. I really mean that. One of the best title wins in recent years from any team. We'd have to just keep winning. Literally. Like we did after the 0-1 Sunderland game in October/November.

I'm not convinced that we're going to go Anfield and win. I've not checked the fixtures but if we go there and get a point (standard procedure as per the last 5 years or so), could we still be above them at that point? Make no mistake, they will be BANG up for that game. Rodgers will sell the players a load more of his philosophical shite and they'll be rocking.

And we've still got Arsenal away and our lovely favourite team Everton. If anything, these two cup ties are a bit of a pain for us!

We'll have 3 games in hand on Chelsea when we next play in the league.

We're 1 game behind them at the moment, they play at weekend in the league when we play Sunderland and they play again in the league the weekend after when we play Wigan in the QF of the FA cup.

Hopefully not 9 points behind them by then, if they slip up in either of the 2 games (Fulham A, Spurs H) it'll help us no end.

I'd rather have the points on the board, just interesting that we'll have 3 games in hand.

Depends if Chelski win the lot the pressure comes on us - if they dont we have a chance

Cant see them dropping much at home but Spuds beed to win their game as do Fulham so fingers crossed

I too worry that a continued cup run could be a problem.

What was crucial when we won the league was an early exit from the EL. We just concentrated overhauling United.

The problem is that we should already be clear in the league. Now we have little scope for error. Sadly I hope we go out of the CL with our reserve team. The league game 3 days later is far more important.
