after being mithered by a company for a few weeks i agreed to swap phone contracts from orange to 3mobile on the understanding i'd receive a new phone and that they'd buy out my contract with orange . the new phone arrived - great - but no paperwork from the company ( they sounded all asian lads said they were from manchester) - got a bill from orange today for £71 for leaving my contract early. dont want to just right off the seventy quid straight away but cant be arsed ringing the 3 call centre in bloody Calcutta !! anyone got any advice or the 3mobile customer services e-mail address

In my experience 3 are terrible, I would just email them and say if it isn't sorted immediately then you will be cancelling your contract (I presume you are still in the cooling off period).

I'm a bit late to this but it sounds like you organised your contract through a third party dealer / reseller which then organised a contract for you with 3 - long story short - 3 is only responsible for providing you with network coverage etc as per the contract you agreed to for 3 service.

The agreement you made with the third party ie they'd buy out your contract with Orange etc is an agreement with that company - I'd look at contacting Trading Standards about them if they refuse to honour the agreement you made.

It's not the answer you were probably hoping for but I hope it is of some help.

All the best.

for your own wellbeing and sanity cancel your 3 contract, absolutly horrible company to deal with. God even being on hold with them playing blue monday on a loop is friggin torture
