There was a block he put in around the 88th minute where he dived to the floor to block it, seemingly, before their lad had even cocked his leg back to shoot. The shot came and the ball just cannoned off him.

Sometimes it defies belief when I read comments about our recruitment. Our management team get it right more often not andmore than other clubs do.

In the last 10 years we are streets ahead of ALL other teams, clubs.

Ruben and Aymeric will be our centre half pairing for years to come. Both strong in the tackle and confident on the ball, with a fluent midfield ahead.

To put things into perspective, I was at my uncle's funeral yesterday in Birmingham and all the Villa and Wolves supporters said we play and have played the best footbalI for years. Unfortunately, they don't understand the implications of FFP on their own teams.

I think this man will end up being Pep’s finest centre half. Maybe second only to Puyol.

He’s an anchor. An absolute leader of men.
Puyol was a great player, but slow. This man has it all, technical ability, strength, tactical nous, pace and leadership. Future Captain.

Firmly believe we didnt win league after the Fourmdables as VK gave club late notice he was leaving, and we hadnt planned for that. RB will be the new VK.
