Doesn't look as good next to laporte. In fact I think if laporte had played all season instead of stones we'd be half arsed about Dias

He is not as vocal with Laporte. The defence can only have 1 chief. Stones qualities complements him and they have a great rapport. Also he is probably feeling the strain of the move now. On merit Dias and stones must play the champions league.

Been poor last couple of games IMO. Maybe time to rotate him out and go with John and Eric... He's been incredible but he's only 23 so will get dips in form. Plus, Eric needs games under his belt.

Still very happy with our CD options though.

I thought he had let Calvert-Lewin on to his right foot too easily at the end there, but made a great tackle. Great game from him.

Very solid today, hopefully Santos rests him for at least one of the games over the break but I doubt it

Another day at the office , another clean sheet and the best defender in the Premier league , when VVD comes back he will be 30 on the back of a long term injury , Dias is only 23 and will only get better if that is possible.
Dias playing for a club with a plan for the next decade , VVD playing for one season wonders.
