Did he make a mistake giving away the pen? Yes but the ball was given away too cheaply by our midfield all fucking game.

Can't do anything about the corner but the other 3 were mistakes on City's part!

Yes the defence was exposed but he didn't help himself, there was no reason at all to go to ground for the 3rd and 4th goals, it's a habit that he needs to eliminate, Akanji was fine he was our best defender out there, Walker and Gvardiol were poor too.

It's also Stones playing his role so well that the defence doesn't suffer when he's roaming about or getting back in.. Then with Akanji playing it from a different point(LCB) next to a young CB playing LB in a new league and system and its just a mess. Dias compensating by throwing himself all over the shop.

Basically if Stones isn't there then we should play a different system as anyone else covering his shift just throws everything out of whack.
 
Had a nightmare...it happens,,,Gvardiol not much better...Rodri's worst game since the 1 nil loss at Spurs last Winter.

I love Alvarez and he's been invaluable in KDB's absence but in some games against certain opponents he doesn't do enough as a 10. I'd rather have had Grealish on the left and Doku on the right with Foden in the 10...JMO...oh well, top of the league, on to the break...
