Ruben has been iffy all season.

Can't help think this Arabella he is seeing off that reality ITV program is affecting his performances... on the pitch anyway. Probably wondering what's for dinner later and evening entertainment rather than concentrating fully on football.

Hopefully Pep will have a quiet word and get him back on track.

Akanji and Gvardiol certainly didn’t help him. Both went missing, although Gvardiol should be in the centre.
Eh? Akanji was holding the defence together on his own at times, he was the only defensive player to come out of that with any credit. Gvardiol was largely fine bar the one glaring error. You've dug out the two "best" defenders, walker and Dias were the two that went missing today.

As they say in boxing, women weaken legs. He's clearly been pounding his new bird too much.

I luv Ruben, but he was shite today and responsible for a couple of their goals.
He's looked shaky at times all season, especially when he roams forward. His ball control and passing aren't consistent enough to do it and it's cost us at times.
To me he should be the last line of defence, the furthest player back, because on his day he's the best CH in the league.
