Simply has to be the captain moving forward. People said he messed up for the goal, what about Kyle’s involvement.

Fantastic professional. Excellent mentality. Post match interview comments were honest, considered but most importantly were calm. Ruben is an excellent leader, based purely on what we see on the pitch, in interviews and from what his peers say about him. Must have a chance of taking on captaincy next season and for a good number of years. If his development continues we could be talking of a player in the mould of Vincent Kompany, I really think he has that much potential.

With him leading the side we will be ok, a true leader and warrior, a player to build a new team around for sure.
