Personally, I would say that he has lived up to his potential, it's just that he's nowhere near as good a player as John Stones or Nathan Ake. He's on the same level as Akanji for me. He's certainly no Vincent Kompany.
In my opinion, like Akanji, Dias is a very good defender, prone to the odd error (who isn’t?), but not a leader.
Khusanov and Reis are /:should be the future at City. The Stones and Ake replacements. As soon as they can speak and understand English, they'll start to be more regular features in our defence.
