What was the reason for the extension? His mentality? Or because he was part of the 4peat squad? Very weird decision. His value is only going to drop with these type of games.Having an absolute mare for Portugal too now

His value is significantly higher having signed a new contract. What was the reason for the extension? His mentality? Or because he was part of the 4peat squad? Very weird decision. His value is only going to drop with these type of games.
That is the same reasoning we used with Mangala. His value is significantly higher having signed a new contract.
A perfect comparison....That is the same reasoning we used with Mangala.
He was with some other trout-faced celebrity TV strumpet from Cheshire the last time he fell off a cliff form-wise, a couple of years ago as well.Maya is our yoko
I see there are some kids on here who think a bad day means the end of a brilliant career. One day they will grow up.
I think that is a bit harsh. He has not been fit for a season and a bit.A bad day? Dias has been playing under par for three seasons. He's bang average.

No denying he had a great first season and really helped steady a ropey defence at the time. He was always someone i looked at and thought he was getting the very most of fairly limited ability when comparing him to great defenders. I suppose you’d have to say his positional play is very good. If you were talking about truly elite centre halves though there aren’t many boxes he ticks. For instance pace, being dominant, really strong, great on the ball, great in the air.I really do think it’s a case of form is temporary class is permanent with Dias. The club obviously see this as well hence the new contract. On his day he’s still top 5 centre backs on the planet in my opinion
100% correct, I keep saying this, yet loads of mates think he's quality, shouldn't be anywhere near our starting line up, just don't get what anyone sees in him, very average at bestHe's not been good since his first season, fit or not. Overrated.
So he wasn't good in the treble year?
