Thought he had a poor season last season and wasn't great for a significant part of the year before. He desperately needs to be better and return to his old form. He's not acting like a leader or the player who literally dragged the defensive unit into shape in the first two-three years after he joined. I think that extension was daft - he needed to prove last year was a blip.

I Agree. He's gone from an excellent player to average in last two seasons. I don't understand how we can reward such mediocrity with a 4 year contract extension. Baffling.

I don’t get the plans of the board. He will lose his place to gvardiol this year and most likely to one of the younger ones next year. The extension was completely unnecessary. Let him play for Chelsea, Madrid or whoever and they will be looking to sell him

Dias has been average for the last two years. He's not an elite player and I honestly can't understand what people at the club see in him. He's a bench player at best.
