At least Pep tried something different with the sub. The question is will he be given a real crack at it next season.

Run out of ideas?
Fuck off he is the best manager we will ever have.

Both of these things can be true at the same time.

He is the reason the squad is as it is. Even if we ignore that, his squad management and in-game management this season has been very poor. He should rightfully get a lot of criticism for this season right now. A couple of years down the line that criticism won't even register compared to the adoration he will still receive for all the good years.

The squad needs refreshing and rebuilding.
We lack the quality we used to have and everyone knows it
We have been shit all season, so it’s no surprise we are where we are
Pep has made a lot of mistakes, but he hasn’t ran out of ideas, he just has a squad of out of form players.

We have some expensive players in terms of fees and wagea

You are saying Palace man to man are better side? Or Southampton or Wolves after early goal?
Buying way out of is just easy thing to do.
He has ran out of ideas and if you can’t see that your just blind happy clapper

I haven’t see a Ingle innovation from Pep this season to steam the downfall or turn the tide

The only ones idea he has show this season is trying new RBs and Lbs

Football isn’t a man to man game, it’s a team game
What innovation are you looking for?
He obviously changed things otherwise we’d still be losing every week

He is the best manager we’ve ever had, the best around at the moment and you think backing him after he has given us literally everything is happy clapping

If one or two players are out of form that's understandable but we have most of our squad in that position and that's a major worry.

Do any of our players look happy on the pitch? Do they look like they are enjoying playing?

Fair point
But they don’t look happy because they are used to competing
And at present we’re not
Look at the dippers, you can turn it round with a new season and some momentum
We just need to get to next sunday

The dippers had new management with new ideas, there is an argument that Klopp had begun to lose the dressing room hence why he left quite suddenly.

Would our players still run through a brick wall for the manager? At this time I would say no and they look bored shitless with the way we play.

Yesterday was another hard watch, we dominated yet again were so easy to defend against, that's two seasons of the same boring, slow football, I no longer enjoy watching this side, once it was a pleasure and made me proud, now they just bore me.

Boring yes absolutely
I think we’re at 80%, we can dominate the game but in years gone by we would score early and force the other team out
Now we’re not moving the ball quickly or having a killer pass, or even taking a pop from 20 yards out
I think that’s easy to solve

My big worry is we don’t look like we can compete physically with the top teams

Absolutely this ..... end of an era, but what an era its been!

I said a few days ago when you watch our training videos and see the finishing ability we have from distance it's incredible, yet in a game no player will shoot from distance, no player takes a chance, we are trying to walk the ball in the back of the net in front of 10 players, an impossible task.

FFS just mix it up, take risks, hit some long balls, get the opponent's defenders on the back foot.

It's being the stuff of dreams, an honour and pleasure to watch but it's very much over and the only thing that matters now is creating a new team to compete for titles.

Is Pep the man to do that?

Sad to say but I don't think he is and if we don't get the points to achieve CL qualification then I think he will walk.

Schiffer?

He looked lively and ready to play quickly in the final third

Don't worry Pep will coach that out of him asap; we'll have him looking to pass inside or recycle the ball to the midfield in no time.

When he was trying to play those quick one twos with Foden and KdB I couldn't help but feel bad for the kid
