I was excited when I heard that Messi was out. Time with the national team would have been good experience but it's probably all good for him at the moment as he will be settling in at City.

He obviously has in training. And it makes sense to loan him if he's not going to be starter right now, he needs to be playing.

Obviously not at the level of Julian Alvarez yet, so he might take the Savinho/ Perrone path and come back in a few seasons!

The fact that he is still playing at the elite level that a top team like Argentina requires.
We must have had 6 or 7 central defenders since he left and most of them are injured.

It’s absolutely mad how people have been thinking he’s some sort of saviour who will go straight to our team after just a handful of appearances in Argentinian league ))

No one has said he is a started on here what I've read! It's more we want see him in the first team of the bench! We all know though pep assess players in training and he is usually spot on. But I'd still would like to see him in the club World Cup of the bench even to at least give the players who played to many games a rest..

Not necessarily just here, on twitter etc as well.
I’d be interested to see a small cameo here and there as well and especially at the CWC but I trust the club on this one.

Yep I said Kayky will not player for us or start a game! Well he did start one game for the first team in a cup! I think this lad though is better than Kayky! I'd love him to go on loan to a premier club by the Italian league for Lazio is a good test for him!

Perrone will make it with us!

If Perrone has a flaw it's that he's not absolutely huge and muscular like Doku, but that will come!

Kayky is like Moreno who we signed around the same time as Jesus but never featured in a single game.

I disagree, he will be 10 times the player of those two, but we have to be patient.

The problem he currently has at City is that we are in need of a rebuild and have eventually come into the position of having to replace our greatest ever player in De Bruyne, and because of that only a world class replacement can suffice.

We are not in a position next season to be trialling promising young players. We have to hit it off from the start.

It's not like when Pep brought Foden through into an established winning team knowing a few mistakes and the team would still have enough to sort it out. We cannot afford to do that next year with the likes of Echeverri.

I think he goes on loan for a season and comes back when we have a more established team and way of playing about us and the assimilation is much easier.

According to a the ITK's on Martin's Mancunian Way YouTube channel, Perrone has asked to leave the club and move to Como permanently.

Apparently he has made it clear to City he doesn't want to come back.

AFAIK he's under contract for 3 more years and unless Como pays us.. it's not likely to happen unless he wishes to go the Eric Garcia route and leave on a free in 2028.

BTW If I were of Italian Heritage and playing in a nice stadium that overlooks Lake Como.. I'd look at settling down there too. ;)

EPL football is not for everyone.. it's a very corrupt league. FFS Even Bernardo has wanted to leave since 2020!
