30 | Claudio Echeverri - 2025/26 (on loan at Leverkeusen)

How do silva, Kovacic Gundogan impact his game time? If you’d said Foden cherki marmoush Bobb you might have made sense

Put simply, they take up more room and substitutions. Pep will always prefer them to get their game time and minutes because of the blind loyalty he has to them. I.e. make subs to bring them on etc. as opposed to bringing Echeverri on instead.

Take them away from him and he has no choice but to use newbies.

That still makes absolutely zero sense as I said they play totally different positions as Echeverri would replace Bobb marmoush Foden doku savinho - not the players you suggested.

Or Echeverri can go on a years loan get experience of European football and come back more experienced in a year and take the place of players coming to the end of their contracts.

You get X number of substitutions every game. If certain players are available to Pep, he will bring them on/rotate those players instead of using others. I’m not sure how else I can put it.

As I said in my original post, I know the players I mentioned won’t directly affect his position but they’ll limit his game time because of the reasons I’ve said.

In my opinion.

Dortmund have emerged as a potential front runner in the race for the youngster: according to Sky, BVB have already submitted an offer to Manchester City!

Niko Kovač's team would like to include an buy-option in the deal, but it's not clear whether Man City would agree to that. Echeverri has already shown a lot of promise in three games for the English side and was even able to score a goal.

I just read that the Club wants him to go to Girona but the player is digging his heels in for a move to Roma. I don’t know if any of this is true but surely the Club won’t be dictated to by a teenager.

I’m still not sure why he has to go on loan at all. I’d much rather see young talent like this stay with the squad and be given opportunities. If you’re good enough you’re old enough.

It's a good move.

The reality is that even if he has a great season our squad won't look much different next year. All our attacking players are young with long contracts to run. If this deal had a 50m buy option it's a great profit for us.

I would have preferred AS Roma with Gesperini; he won't learn anything from Ten Hag.

He's very talented. I'm already looking forward to his return next season. Good luck to him.
