30 years and it's still 5-1

I was 15, my first time being allowed to watch a derby game from the Kippax.

It was my first time seeing us beat them, unless you count us beating them in the Arthur Albiston testimonial earlier that summer (still my only time seeing us win at the swamp live)

A memory which remains very fresh even now. Absolute chaos.

30 years, it's true what they say, life just passes so quickly.

Despite everything that’s happened in the last few years this is still probably my favourite day. First derby.
My 1st Derby too.noise was amazing.
Kippax was heaving. The roar for our 2nd goal will live with me forever.it was disbelief as much as anything .
Football has changed so much over the years.watching people politely clap kdbs goal sat ..compared with the wild celebrations on kippax for our goal s..

Just seen the Ceefax post with Hinchcliffe's goal on 62 minutes, I always thought he scored much later than that. Was sat in the Main Stand aged 11 with my Dad and brother. What a day to be a blue :)
