How do I go about getting someone a ticket for this game with no season ticket, no citycard, and having never been to a match before?

register them online, and put in your friends and family. And buy. Paper ticket will be issued.

No loyalty points required, and on general sale.

Anyone know why the ticket office have this policy in place for this game, but any existing member can buy up to five generic paper tickets for Villa/Wolves without having to register each person?

I don't understand why anyone who can afford it wouldn't bother, at worst for most its an afternoon off work. I was lucky enough to see us play in europe in the 70's (thanks mum), and these games are the best games you can ever get to. We get to pit our wits against the good the bad and the ugly from europe, they are mostly one off's, probably the only chance you will get to see some of these teams. Our night games have a far better atmosphere, and there is something a little bit special about european nights, and now we are playing in the worlds top competition, what is not to like about it ?

I'll be delighted to have been at our first champions league game (./), our first champions league away game(./), our first champions league win (hopefully), and our first champions league away win (hopefully again).

Come on, get to this game if you can, its a must do, if we win it will be a very special night, and bring your kids, they will love it, and in 30 years they'll remember it to their kids.
