not seen a replay and only saw it in realtime from East stand BUT tonight is replay game and pizza timeHate to tell you but he tipped it onto the bar. Probably would have hit underside of the bar had he not and who knows where it would have ended up. Fantastic save.
I was critical of him earlier on in the season (Sure he didn’t lose sleep over it!).
Wasn’t scapegoating or hating on him (the way we play he has been a major contributor to our success) I just thought (rightly or wrongly) he could be making more vital saves when games are tight.
Well he’s certainly been doing that lately and has been excellent post Xmas.
So it’s possible on City forum to question ( not slag off) a player even in a team as good as ours and then later happily praise him.

He has consistantly been superb from the day he arrived.
To be fair, his performances against Bayern Munich and Real Madrid are probably his best of the season.
If we end up winning the final, we'll have a lot to thank him for.
