I’ve been one of Ederson’s biggest critics on here last 2 years but no way was today on him at all.

Horrendous finishing and no subs from Pep Was to blame

You’re bang on. This game wasn’t on him but it’s very unfortunate that we’ve conceded the first shot on target in each of the last four games.

Ederson is rarely at fault for huge blunders but he also rarely pulls us out of the fire.

I goalkeepers job is to stop the ball going in the net. Ederson does not do this. Its no good having a goalkeeper who is good with the ball at his feet if he's no good with his hands.

If shots are being made on our goal then surely that is part of the defence either. We had hardly a settled back centre back pairing for very long (especially our first choice). I am not suggesting he is "World Class" (who currently is?) but he isn't shite either.
