Very happy he is staying. Hopefully he signs an extension. There simply isn't a more suitable goalkeeper out there for us than Eddy.
 
Instrumental to our team. I haven't seen ANY keeper that doesn't make mistakes. Just like I haven't seen any keeper do assists and attacking passes like he does.

Short-sighted for people wanting him sold, dropped.
 
I wonder if the lack of warmth that an unwarranted number of blues have towards this fucking legend was because of his putative lack of English.

And if so, I wonder now he’s communicating with the press in English with considerable ease, whether that attitude from that quarter will change.

As others have said, hope he retires here, but if he wants to run his contract down and leave on a Bosman for his family’s future then he owes us fuck all. And I’ll wish him all the best.

He's not very good at shot stopping, but apparently brilliant distribution, sooner have a shot stopper.
 
Only reason in my opinion as to why he hasn't left this summer is because nobody wants to sign him like last summer so had resigned himself to staying until his contract runs out next year.

Should have just got rid last summer.
 
He did another brainless pass at the start of the game again, looks like he's just not interested at the moment, we can't be so poor at the back and have a GK who lets every shot in.
 
I wanted to keep him for one more year because I hoped he'd be better than he was last season, with a better defence in front of him. But the defence is still shit and he's actually getting worse. Even his passing has turned to shit.
 
You can't play football without keeper. Sign a keeper must be your top priority.
 
If we don’t replace Ederson, let’s forget about next season.

Ridiculous decision to keep someone who already had a foot out the door. Adding a first choice keeper on top of whatever transfer business we have left after this tournament is going to be tough.
