feeling more like a CFG Signing right now, TBH I wonder if he was just bought as emergency cover in case one of the number 8's went down and we'll ship him off for 4-5 mil profit in the summer.

I think he was never going to play in the business end of the season. Especially since we were trailing Arsenal for a long time. He had only really joined us in mid-Feb after a major tournament, and it's his first European club, and has another tournament coming up. I fully expect him to be a squad player next season. This season was all about him getting used to England. I actually don't think we will sign anybody but Bellingham for our midfield, so he will get his chances.

Perfectly summed up. If he was a CFG signing then he wouldn't have been put into the matchday squads and even the CL squad list.

Can't wait to see more of him.

Maxi Perrone in 2028: [removes helmet and turns around to face the Madrid cunts] My name is Maximo Perrone, commander of the Manchester City midfield, General of the Premier League and loyal servant to the TRUE emperor, Pep Guardiola.

He ia definitely a more calm midfielder and would pair nicely with Alavrez or Foden in midfield (or all 3 with Alvarez as striker)

Argentina came from behind to beat Uzbekistan 2-1 Saturday. Max started and had an utterly un-noteworthy performance, neither good nor bad - just another bumper in the pinball machine that is u20 football. He was the first starter subbed off, but MF might be Arg's deepest position.

He was interviewed in Spanish after the match - he seemed tickled City won the title.

➜ Goal ➜ Assist ➜ 1st in touches [131] ➜ 1st in fouls received [3] ➜ 1st in chances created [4] ➜ 1st in successful passes [10] ➜ 1st in completed dribbles [5/5] ➜ 2nd in successful long passes [2] ➜ 88% passing effectiveness

Damn, some impressive stats. I want us to sign only Bellingham/Rice and for this boy to get his chances next year.
