That's simply because he's constantly making great runs into the box, and doesn't get the passes he deserves.

He really doesn't play LB, it's often as an inside/outside left forward, hence the assist today.

He’s got all the attributes to play in the Rodri role (Nico was decent yesterday) and O’Reilly is such a good footballer.

His consistency is pretty remarkable, given his age and the fact he’s playing in an unfamiliar position. We’ve got an absolute gem on our hands. I was excited when we signed Ait-Nouri, but O’Reilly has to be first choice left-back for now on merit.

It's a joy to watch when this lad has open grass in front of him, he really stretches his long legs and gets up the pitch very quickly.

I think if he's well managed he has the potential to be world class. He's quick, strong and is not afraid to roam when he sees fit.

Ait Nouri will be off to The African Nations Cup in around mid-December so I'm not sure how we should handle this .Do we change the side to accommodate him or just let him simmer and play if an injury occurs.

Besides his defensive quality and build up effort, he’s got something about him in where he ends up in the right place at the right time to either get a goal himself or create one for someone else when we look desperate and need results. There were a couple FA Cup games during our run last season and maybe one more in the PL where he really bailed us out. His output is coming at a great time when all our forwards, bar Haaland, aren’t carrying their weight in front of goal.
