33 | Nico O'Reilly - 2025/26

Strange number choice. Wonder if there will be any other squad number changes? Really hopeful that Rico Lewis changes from 82 and Bobb changes from 52.
 
I know Nico's actual position is Attacking Midfielder, but has been played wide before?

Wondering if we get rid of Savio, Nico might be used in that position
 
Im gonna be a bit of a contrarian here, but right now, I think he is better as a LB bombing down the wing.

He isn't quite doing enough in midfield, either inverted or starting there, and the starting midfielders offer more.

Im sure his future is likely in midfield, but currently, he is best as a bombing wingback.
 
I hope Nico is getting himself ready because his big moment is coming up, we are absolutely crying out for a player with his potential qualities in the middle of the park. His pace, size, aggression, quick feet, eye for goal and being a lefty are all qualities our team is sorely missing. He has the talent, has to go and seize his opportunity because he'll get it over the next few weeks.

I looked at that Spurs midfield 3 on Saturday and thought these 3 are all fucking animals, and they can play aswell, I looked through our squad to see who I thought our 'animal' could be in midfield and Nico was the only one who stood out to be in that mould. Obviously Rodri aswell but we need to be very careful with him for a while.
