33 | Nico O'Reilly - 2025/26

He might not want to be a left back but the way I see it he has the potential to be world class in that position, not sure that’s the case in midfield?

I think Pep said he saw him as being capable of playing as a 6 with his physicality. But he still makes a few errors in possession and generally at LB there's less pressure on him with the ball. He's a great athlete and is excellently technically. Too early to say where he'll end up, but he just needs to keep doing what he's doing as he's been superb at LB.

I'll stick my neck out and proclaim my love for this lad.
I love him,his attitude,his humility.
He's gonna go far with our club, and I'll love to witness it.
He deserves what's coming his way

Outstanding again, some of the positions he finds himself in are ridiculous at times …. undroppable at the mo.

Very, very good again I thought. Improving every game and seems to believe that he belongs there.

With every passing game he looks more and more comfortable at this level, getting more confident and more involved in the final third of the field, he is a big physical specimen and he is using this advantage more now - his ceiling is very very high, at the moment LB suits him very well, can't see Ait Nouri displacing him, but he could be a fantastic midfielder in the future

Played reasonably well, which made him one of the best players on the pitch in a game played by two teams who were poor.

He looks good in the full back position. Good defensively, good on the ball. I wouldn’t drop him when Ait-Nouri comes back as I think he looks a better left back than him.

But I think he looks poor when he has the ball in tight spaces up high in the opposition half. He loses the ball far too often as players just get their body close to him while he dangles a leg and they pinch it off him.

I see him as a 6 long term. Same with Gvardiol.

His poor first touch is the reason he can't start in midfield right now. He's improving in other areas so quickly that when his touch improves we will have a serious talent.

He did single-handedly on the left what Bernardo and Stones together couldn't: deliver crosses, take chances, create attacking danger, as well as being aggressive and defending while advancing.
I really like his freshness and carefree attitude. Bravo!

I would play him anywhere in the middle when Ait Nouri comes back

I thought he was really good, never worried down his side.

His booking was nonsense, Kayode takes 10 years to launch a ball in, Nico takes 10 seconds, only 1 got booked.
