Because the referee didn’t even see it. I had a perfect wide angle view from near the top of the main stand and clearly saw him quickly looking round in reaction to the crowd noise.

I wouldn’t have minded too much if he’d honestly admitted he just wasn’t looking and couldn’t give something he hadn’t seen.

But he watched a replay and then came out with some bullshit to justify allowing it.

He is still goalie coach at Accy Stanley but is out of action right now due to a procedure he put the public domain, so on sick leave I assume. He still has a real job :)
