3d tvs are they any good?

Check on John Lewis, Comet and Amazon. All of them have bundles that throw in either a blu ray player/PS3 + glasses. There is a 50" Samsung plasma with the blu ray bundle for about £899 I believe. And as I said earlier the Sony TVs have a 17.5% rebate on them.

I would have a look on hotukdeals.com as there are always loads of deals on there.

Personally, 3d broadcast tv isn't up there quality wise, but 3d blu-ray is another matter.

I would also look into passive vs active, as this can make a difference. From what I gather active is what you should be looking for, but I don't fancy watching tv with glasses on and see it somewhat as a fad and therefore can't be 100% on the active/passive thing.

Purchased the Samsung 50" a few months back and it is awesome the depth of view is amazing especially when watching football or rugby. The package also included the 3D blue ray which again is amazing. The Samsung also connects to the internet as well as mine and the kids laptops in the house. So I can play any films or music etc on my laptop through the TV remotely.

They are fantastic if City are on; they're crap if anyone else is on.

They're pretty shit when we lose, but they're the D.B's when we win :D

Bought the samsung 40 inch led version 2 weeks ago worth every penny of the £1200 i paid and that included 3d blu ray player and 2 pairs of glasses and 4 3d movies,so i say go for it.
