3G pitches a health hazard?

American Football players play on these fields by the hundreds of thousands, maybe millions, and American Football players spend more time on or near the ground than any GK and kick up way more particles. It would seem if it were the turf, it would be giving football players cancer at a rate that would be highly alarming but that's not happening.

Add to the fact that only GKs seem to be getting cancer, and not other players, makes me think it's not the field...maybe the gloves?

I agree - it does seem that a massive story is being made out of something that still needs work to establish a causal link of any sort.

As for keepers being an issue never mind the gloves my memories of Sunday league football from a few years back I suspect keepers would be more at risk coz of having a sly fag behind the posts when we were attacking ha ha ha
