at home deffo play a dm with kaka and ireland prowling around ahead of him. rob advanced on the left, sweep and micah on the right.

kaka and ireland are hard workers, even if they both like to get forward, and if they got a good understanding between them, it could work. the trick is making sure we dont end up with 7 players forward for EVERY attack, like what has happened on many occasions this year, and making sure that at least one of the two drops deep to pick up possesion when the back four and the dm are passing it about. I'm not worried about the work rate, more having people in the middle so we can build moves more progressively rather than just unleash the cavalry charge every time we get possesion.

I read the Guardian report in my free at College. Personally I think the system looks a bit imbalanced, maybe if we dropped Ireland back to beside Kompany.

i would get someone better for ireland, dunne and hart! no disrespect to them but could purchase better whilst were buying KAKA!

After what Ireland has done for us this season, im shocked that a few people would still have him out of the team.

I'm afraid Ireland cannot be dropped, it would be mad the way he is playing.

With the attacking talent we would posses in midfield (Kaka, Robinho, Ireland, W-Phillips and Petrov to come back) we could maybe go with the following formation, with the 4 attacking players taking turns or rotating who plays up top.

like this mate, but for home, kompany should start centreback instead of richards or dunne.....and away it should be ireland and swp competing, with ireland winning if he keeps us his forum.

Best team line up in my opinion, kompany can help Richards to understand the game better and kompany will be able to read a problem before it happens, so we got Richards for power and pace and kompany for Reading and teaching.

De Jong is best for dm because he is mobile. Tough. Strong. And great distribution, he will allow for Ireland n kaka to push on more ( Ireland to be more restriced than kaka due to his great tackling ! And the partnership Ireland n kaka can form seems unbelieveable !!

Get sweep n rob running, skinning and passing and gettin our front man for link up or over top chase or passing in the net !!!!

Yes very indepth I know but ..... I believe it us the best and felt I needed to put my case forward.
