It appears four of our learned MP's, those who are paid a fortunate, along with a very fulsome expenses account, have been asked to repay a fixed penalty fine for speeding.

One, it appears is a government minister, two are other tories, and lastly one is SNP (at least he can claim he didn't have his English to Scottish dictionary to hand)

Are they that stupid to think they can claim that as an expense, devious enough to think they could get away with it, and finally arrogant enough that the electorate will ignore it.

Anyway good news none had a first name of Phil, or surname Scofield

The SNP MP should argue that Scottish law differs from English law ha ha ha

They are not stupid..........they made a point of claiming it under "travel expenses " - they knew full well what they were doing and tried to hide it in the small print. In 40 years of work one thing was drummed into every one - fiddling expenses was a sackable offence.

If only they had some senior colleague who was versed in breaking speed limits to offer them advice on how to deal with this kind of annoyance.
The Home Secretary could help find someone surely.
