4 North Korean players disappeared before Brazil match

North Korea, don't know much about them to be honest, but I remember being told that the governemtnt control absolutely all means of media and what they see and what comes in and out of the country. The country is controlled totally my a propaganda. Can't imagine how that must be.

The only reason North Korea isn't a utopia is because it is under siege conditions and surrounded by enemies. Since when has any country surrounded by enemies managed to function correctly? Even Britain suspended democracy in 1940 when it was at war. Think Britain didn't publish anti-German and pro-British propaganda do you?

Oh definately. I heard that the Brazil game wasn't to be shown in North Korea unless North Korea won the game (obviously, they'd show a recording if that happened).

With regards the hotel, have a look at this:
<a class="postlink" href="http://www.damninteresting.com/north-koreas-secret-hotel" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.damninteresting.com/north-ko ... cret-hotel</a>

The best bit of the article is
Today, few North Koreans are willing to discuss the hotel with outsiders. The hotel, which was once found on city maps before the construction even began, has now been completely stricken from the official maps. Tour guides usually claim not to know where it is. Either a majority of the country is in a state of denial about the whole thing, or they avoid the subject for fear of reprisal. Since the government’s embarrassing monument is visible from practically every point in the city, it’s most likely the latter.

The craziness of that can only be explained by this image:

What big hotel?

Oh, and for amusement:

I see no hotel.

Well, see that giant hotel-styled pyramid thing that looks like a hotel, and his huge.

Well. It's not that. Let's move on.
