4 or 5 Players??

Apparently Mancini wants to add 4 or 5 players in, in this window

Van Persie is obviously one of them, Im guessing CB cover, A midfielder like De Rossi or Martinez... thats 3...after that im not sure... possibly 1 or 2 wingers? do we need 4 -5 additions? If Van persie comes do we need to bring in wingers that wont be regular starters? Maybe if that deal falls through they will be essential especially if Dzeko stays...do we need RVP, it doesnt seem like Dzeko is Leaving, maybe he is thinking about playing 3 - 4 - 3 with Aguero RVP Tevez up front? ....not sure if that would work in PL .....for me Tevez and Aguero together a lethal partnership.. .....or is he thinking a few young players? Personally I dont think that would be a priority at this stage of the window....what do other blues think about this statement?

Goes on to say in the same interview that they are mostly looking at young talent to bring through to the same level as the first team. The majority of players brought in are most likely to be for the academy I am guessing.

I think the 4 or 5 players that Manacini has been quoted as saying includes younger players who can improve in time, like Bitton and the young striker we've had on trial also. I think those two will be signed, so for the team it's more like 2 or three additions. Not sure we need that many but that's up to Bobby and like I've said on another thread it depends on who leaves. If no-one goes one signing possibly two for the team would do for me. We'll see....
 
It seems we have tried to sign or made clear enquiries about Agger, Skrtel, De Rossi, Hazard, Lavezzi and Van Persie.

I'd say based upon players we have/are trying to sign, its a safe bet that Mancini wants to bring in the following calibre of players to complete the squad:-

A strong centre back
deep lying midfielder who can pass
Attacking mid left side with pace and skill
A forward who can pass and is good in the air
 
WE DONT NEED 5 NEW PLAYERS .We need 2 a good central defender and a play maker sneijder thats all folks.
 
He also said that they can be young players.

So I'd plump for RVP, De Rossi, Biton, A centre back and either a winger or another youngster.

Nah we certainly dont need a Sneijder - we absolutely need a partner for Yaya whom can deputise for him when heis away at ACON and can also anchor the midfield when Yaya gets pushed forward

Never ever want to see a Barry / DJ combo again in must win games the simply aint good enough

One central defender is good enough and based upn whati have seen pre season it pains me to say it but an AJ replacement

Everything else is just icing on the cake

I don't think Sneijder is going to happen man. Im neutral on signing him, I just don't think we would be willing to pay what Inter is asking.

And Mancini is always making some 'contentious' statement to the media that gets turned into a million ridiculous stories. Mancini's probably brainstorming new ways to f>ck around with the media all the time. Trying to cement his status as master of the mind games.
