Do we have to have this excuse for every player who comes to us now?

If they can’t adapt then we need to be buying players from the Premier League so they at least have a better chance.

We have really been poor in the transfer market in recent years. Hardly anyone has hit the ground running since Haaland.

The only thing he has in common with KDB is that they’re both human. I’d take KDB over him right now and that’s with the snapped hamstring.

I don't wanna get too mad at him for playing poorly in the 6, daft one from pep and should have played Kova probably, but he's not doing enough generally. Probably needs a game or 2 out the team.

He’s weak. Should never be deep against the likes of Villa - Palermo and Wolves seem a long time ago….

Needs to be near/in the box and his finishing needs to improve

Yes but come on, same gets said everytime we sign someone, he’s an international player and has come from a big club like Milan and yet runs in slow motion and doesn’t seem to be able to compete in midfield for us, why?

It’s not his first season in football though.

And it’s not like he’s an up and coming young lad in his early 20s.

Obviously new players get some leeway but he’s not taking responsibility for making things happen and isn’t stamping any authority on games. Even if it is his first season here, you’d think a 27 year old would be making a bigger impact, even in five minute spells here and there.

Nico has stamped his authority on games in his first year at the club and he’s four years younger.

He didn’t really play in the 6 though. Stones and then Nico played in the 6 when we had the ball.

Reijnders was in the 8 position when we had possession.

He needs to toughen up as well.....he is trying to coast through games - Im yet to see him put any real effort in.

Defensively very poor and his attacking threat is none existent

He needs time to prove himself but at present he isnt offering anything.

We used to be able to give new signings a season because we were just THAT good. We don’t have that luxury anymore. We need players now, because otherwise, their 2nd season will be spent playing on Thursdays.

I rate him, but not as a PL DM. Game is too quick over here, which is why Rodri is Godri. He CREATES time for himself. TR’s place is picking the ball up FROM Rodri, and driving forward. Wasting 75% of his energy chasing space and defending, instead of attacking.
