40M Bid from Corinthians

But honestly guys....City will look like a bunch of mugs if we dont find a buyer this window.

Everybody complaining that City buy all the good strikers. :D It's hard to justify the Aguero deal.

This saga is now about as boring as it gets. It will be a relief when he goes.

I agree we need him off our books sharpish so we can get this Aguero deal done. If it wearnt for this "try and stop City winning anything" rule they rushed through he'd be a city player by now.

Just read the quotes and it seem like the payment of the first installment is the only thing blocking the deal.

Corinthians get their TV money in january. So they want to pay the first installement in January.

I mean...why can't City accept it? They will still get the first 10m this season.

The deal doesn't seem to be dead yet. I pray it goes through!

We could loan him till January, and have automatic buy clause, and be done with it.

If thats all thats stopping the deal then City need to stop being picky and ship him out. It's not like we are dependant on the Tevez money to buy Aguero like other clubs would be.

Not at all, if we aren't convinced that Corinthians have the money and it's going to cause problems in the future with them being unable to make payments then we should definatly be cautious. We don't go around paying transfer fee's upfront to accept deals from clubs we aren't even sure have the money to cough up for our players.

Then he gets injured, then they don´t cough up the first payment due to some poxy excuse, then we get told only 5 mill the first installment and on and fookin
on and on etc, etc.
Would you sell your house to someone and let them move in before a penny is paid? Would you fook!! They´d end up claiming squatters rights and that´s what could happen here. Only if there are cast iron bank guarantees for payments by certain dates would I even consider it and that includes cash UP FRONT!! If they say they don´t have the TV money till Jan why can´t their bank guarantee payment NOW. If it´s a kosher deal (and I fookin doubt that as well) then the bank have nothing to worry about. We are dead right asking for an initial installment now. Only fookin mugs wouldn´t

If Corinthians are legally obligated to pay the installments but can't, won't they be forced to sell their prized assets (players) to pay the fee?
