I remember the group of city behind the net when Kinsey scored but had forgot about all our fans down the side till I watched it again!! also remember being back at the train station after the game & the Burnley special pulled in from Bolton round two of violence!!!

From memory some of those seats at Coventry were also being launched at Alex Williams

Had to walk back to ashton,no buses would allow City fans on.What a day that was.

yep same for us, it was great, even the chippys were free lol going back to in the ground and we were in the open end corner were lumps of concrete were being chucked at the dibble, my mate got wrongly arrested and got a proper hefty fine, seeing that ladder go up was funny and a great bit of improvisation to access a seat, it was a bonkers day

An abiding memory of Burnden Park was, about twenty years earlier ,mid sixties, can't remember anything of the game except we must have won ,as I was chuffed. The highlight was, driving out of what passed às a car park ,through a narrow exit,and two cars each going for it,with neither prepared to give way.They both met ,lifting the closest front wheel off the ground ,then scraping the sides with such a noise ,pushing through and drove away ,without either driver uttering a word to each other.
