There's a little bit too much naivety in his game that needs ironing out, few little things that he's got away with but he's hasn't half settled in well. I cannot imagine not having him in the 11 right now even with a full compliment of defenders to pick from. His pace alone gets him in.

No I was at the game. why what's he said? I'd question myself with anything if he's said the same as me. I'm talking little things like shielding a ball out properly, diving in across players leaving himself vulnerable to being spun, going wrong side. They're little things and very easy fixes but they do leave him open to being caught out. It's a minor critique in an otherwise superb start for him.

i sought see what your saying sometimes he can be to aggressive and miss the balls i've noticed with headers but his pace allows him to win the second balls but for 20 yrs old having only played 30+ games in europe i'd take them little tweaks he needs to make

I agree - Rio just said the naive thing on tv
 
I listened to Rio in a recent match - I avoid his punditry on our games - and I was surprised just how awful he was. I don't say this out of bias - his points were very simplistic, delivered in a monotone, and mostly inarticulate. I was surprised that he had managed to maintain his role.

I think it's probably the correct word but I'll change it to inexperienced then to avoid any connection with the camel man. I'll tell you the scousers are a thoroughly decent fanbase to avoid being grouped with that prick.

That'll come with experience, not concerned at all by the odd poor choice, especially with the shit he's surrounded with.

Overall he's been far better than any of us would have expected, and I genuinely think he'll be a star player for us.
 
Does anyone not expect a 20yr old in a foreign country only a few weeks and doesnt speak a word of english, also coming into the current 4 times Champions playing under Pep not to be naieve, inexperienced or whatever you want to label it. The ball he didn't shield out according to the wobbly lipped twat had already gone over the line but they still got a corner from it. Ive seen experienced players do similar things, its also called making a mistake, being human and not always naieve and inexperienced. Show me a fully experienced international that still doesn't make mistakes and like my Dad used to say i'll show you my arse in woolworths window.The kids learning and will take a couple of more years but hes already better than the rag wife cheating drug test avoiding fucker.

And yes I know woolworths isn't there anymore!
