What an awful take. The fact that he recovered and played ok after that terrible start says wonders about his temperament. He got stronger and stronger. Pep made the sub at exactly the right time. And to answer another question from another post of yours, yes he did win some tackles!!!!

Saved us from a certain goal in the 1st half, 2 key defensive actions, 86% passing 40/47, 1 block, 1 clearance, 2 recoveries. All that on a yellow card after the worst possible start. Most would shit themselves and ask to be subbed. He didn't. He did well after the first 5 mins.

You learn more about a champion when he is flat on his back in a defeat (error in this case) than you do in victory (think of Mangalas debut). Tonight, we learn more about you, Khusanov.

I checked and he didn't make a tackle. I am not saying he is shit but that was as bad a debut as you will see. Weird people just outright lying and pretending he was anything but poor just because it was his debut.

Mangala had a mega debut and was fucking awful, it doesn't mean anything.

Yeah,he fucked up,but sorted himself out afterwards.
Looked ok 20-25 mins in and seemed pretty comfortable.
He is 20 years old.....people should not judge a player,in a new country,a new league,a new system with new teamates,over 5 minutes...IMO.

Wasn't his last action before getting subbed a tackle? What xonstitutes a tackle these days,?
 
If only we had a former player that speaks both Russian and Portuguese and was even at the CFA to welcome Vitor Reis….

If Fernandinho wasn’t at the CFA to agree to join our coaching staff, I’ll be amazed. He speaks Russian and can be the only person able to communicate with Khusanov, whilst also speaking Portuguese to help Reis settle and having perfect English to be able to fully translate……

I’d be amazed if it was coincidence he was at City recently. He could be the key to help these young lads settle.

Not that this makes a difference but I've no idea what constitutes a tackle these days . He defo won a few of what I'd consider a tackle.

He doesn't even speak the language yet. I get discombobulated when i land in a Country in that doesn't speak English. Imagine having to go lace up a week later.

I'm not sure what differentiates a tackle and a ground duel on Sofascore. He barged Jackson off it and made the sliding challenge to stop an attack (not sure if that last one was offside so may not have counted).

Are you trying to say he didn’t make a tackle? If you are you need to check again/ have your eyes tested/ just fuck off ..
