Looked a lot more composed and comfortable today and showed great pace, looks like we have a guddun on our hands

Night and day compared to how he looked in the chelsea game (which wasn't his fault).

Just seeing him get over and smashing a player in the second half - What a relief it was to finally see a City play hit someone for once. I know this is basic, and I know it's a primitive thing to compliment, but we've been rolled over time and time again for months. We've got big fellas in akanji, kova, gvardiol, even Haaland.. and they're technically very good players, but lack aggression. Lesser teams have been hitting us left right and centre, running through gundo and kev in midfield and we haven't stood up to it game after game and we've been done.

Way too early to say he's the answer yet, but a relief to see him hit someone, and his pace in recovery at one point today was noticeable.

Early days but I can see why we signed him now. Hopefully it works out and there will obviously be far bigger tests but he looked a write off vs chelsea whereas he looked like he can bring things that we desperately need today - aggression, pace, but also quality on the ball. And even if he doesn't make the grade his style at the very least looks like it will give some of our big player a very much need Uzbekistani boot up the arse

Funny you should say that. They'll be more than happy to feign bloody murder while for years they've gotten away with absolutely demolishing people. Ramos, Pepe, Casamiro, now Rudiger, Camavinga, Tchuoameni, and even Carvahal is a bit of a dirty blade. They would go in on Messi and company like mad men...while their attacking players rolled around all over the pitch. LMAO
Part of the reason i can't stand them

They're actually bigger dirty cunts and shithouses than Atletico Madrid.

At least Atletico own it.

Proper character? His charisma comes across as a dying bear in pain.

He needs Tommy Cooper tickle his balls with a feather duster to lighten him up.

Just like that! ; )

Let him be, he's Uzbek. If you're from those central Asian ex soviet countries and your name ends with "kin" or "ov", you're automatically a big stoic hard bastard

If he plays against Real Madrid, it's inevitable that he'll put in one of 'those challenges', and their players won't react with the benevolence of the Leyton Orient lad. We'll see theatrical performances that will have the Oscar committee reappraising their picks and the referee reaching into his pocket.

Great minds think alike, I guess.
