I was a little disappointed how far off Szobozlai he was for the 2nd goal - felt he could have closed him down to block rather than stay where he was. A minor quibble really, he didn't cause the goal by any means.

However, his all-round performance was actually bloody good. I wasn't sure we were signing someone close to being ready, but we have and he is. Also pleased with how comfortable he was on the ball on the right - not a natural in that position perhaps, but he wasn't in any difficulty. A very positive display.
Nah, that was Nico Gonzalez's job to mark Szobozlai

Certainly has a lot of upside to his game. At the moment, I would trust him more on a one on one assignment than any other City defender right now.

He's still a bit raw but he has some of the tools needed to be a very good centre half. People seemingly forget he is a kid. Not many centre halves his age impress in the Premier League.

I will give him some leeway on yesterday's second goal as Ake was not handling his assignment and he was probably concerned the player may come inside.

Performing way better than most other players would be considering the circumstances. Huge potential.

More than happy of what I have seen so far , I think if fit the four players we got in January would be regular starters next season notwithstanding we need some real quality in midfield and at the back to replace the likes of Stones , Ake Gundy , Silva and KDB who may well and perhaps should get a great send off against Bournemouth.

Ran down Salah twice or it could have ended 4-0.
First one was brilliant to see.
I real uncut diamond, I think he has a huge future.
There'll be mistakes along the way (like in his first match) but I really think this one will be a top signing.
We’d have been so much worse off without him. Looks pretty comfortable moving the ball around but he wasn’t pressured all that often.

Genuinely seems to have the pace of Walker but seems to be a more natural defender. I loved Walker during (most of) his time here but it always felt like he was waivering between concentrating and not.

Khusanov just seems to love defending and have a knack for being able to be in the right place at the right time.

Such an exciting prospect.

A very promising start for the kid.

Quick, likes a rumble and isn’t phased by any opponent. Reads the game very well for his age.

Composed on the ball and exudes confidence.

Has the best bits of Walker and the best bits of Stones.

Looking forward to seeing him develop.

This lad would be good enough for pep to turn him into a midfield destroyer if he wanted.
I’m thinking Jolinton only better

And when he isn't, he just runs there really fast. Its so enjoyable to see. Even forwards are shocked by the pace :)

As they say to boxers in training "women weaken legs"

I'd end up in a wheelchair if I was having relations with Maya Jama

He's rushing back from injury, which is why he keeps getting injured. If you think Ruben has been doing anything but smashing 10s back doors in every night for the last 5 years you are deluded. Maya is probably not even with him half the time as she's a massively in demand presenter.
