45 | Abdukodir Khusanov - 2025/26

What is love about this lad is his never say die attitude. He doesn't give a fuck who he is up against he will make sure he isn't going to come out second best. It won't be long before strikers will think twice about going into duels with him. He looks like he wants to learn and take on board what ever he is coached, he looks like he will run through brick walls for the club.
He will quietly become a beast of a player whilst the media obsess about his debut game!

Despite the media narrative that he’s a disaster waiting to happen, forwards have already to started to veer away from him. He doesn’t like anyone would beat him for pace.

If it's reported as a concussion injury (and not just Sky's take on it) then isn't it 10 days rest? He'll also have to wrestle the spot from Dias which won't be a straightforward decision for Pep.

Edit: surprisingly it looks like only 24 hours.
2nd edit damn it:- "If judged to be concussed, the player should be supervised for 24 hours and begin a six-stage 'return to play' process. This starts with an initial 48-hour period of rest with minimal physical and 'cognitive' activities, such as working and using screens."

Have to admit when I saw the slow mo.. it was scary where Donna collided with him. I wouldn't mind him taking a week off if that's what is needed for full fitness.

We absolutely need him down the stretch.

The guy has the potential to be something really special. Just 21, although he's a leap year baby, so he could be considerably older.

;-)

A perfect replacement for Ake and/or Boulders (sorry @Eccles Blue, but we have to face facts; Stones' best days are probably behind him). Just checked Dias' age; 28. So he's possibly got 3 or 4 more years at the top, injuries permitting.

Well impressive performance once he loses that mistake he’s got in him he could well be another great player we have and he’s only young.

He's no William Shakespeare according to Pep :)

It seems they use sign language to communicate with him :)

In two years, when he's learned the language fluently and gained experience, he'll be a world-class player.

I think he'll get more and more important. Walker of the CBs is not far off what he can be for us.

But those Khusa fans who feel the need to shit on Dias are sad morons.
