Phil Foden 4 goals,5 Assists....187 mins per goal.747 minutes played
David Silva 3 goals,7 assists....442 minutes per goal.1326 minutes played.
Pure stats can never tell the whole story....but there is quite a narrative leaping out from these figures
20 odd pts behind the team in first place....partly down to inexplicable var decisions and edersons consistent excellent form dropping off a cliff come into the mix....but,imo,the decision not tp start Foden in many more premier league matches this season has to be seriously considered as a reason for our clubs timid defence of the title.
There is no room for sentiment in football..top teams should always be looking to replace any player who has clearly dropped off the pace over a sustained period....regardless of weather he is our captain,playing out his last season.Silva should have been rested for the Champions league,imo.
 
Not only is he good enough to get into such a strong team, he is good enough to outshine them and be the best player on the pitch. Sky's the limit. He can be as good as he wants to be.

I'll always love Micah, and it's great to have a City face on the TV, but he's a pretty shit pundit. Doesn't really come up with anything insightful, doesn't really push back against people even when you can see he disagrees.

He's a bit better on radio for the BBC, but I don't think he'll have a long media career if he doesn't improve.
