Dynamic of the team completely changes with him in it. Adds zip and drive and tempo that was so obviously lacking against arsenal. One of the first names on the team sheet at the moment for me. We need him in there because of the type of player he is

Should be one of the first names on the team sheet for me. Off the top of my head I think he has started 8 Premier League games this season and our results in those games are Won 7 Lost 1 with a goal record of 25-4. This kid is special and needs to be unleashed in the Champions League.

Absolutely, footballers are soft these days.

Where are a dirty Leeds when you need them — current state is far too much fluff for my liking.

The lad has instinct in the box. When raz shoots Phil drops off a little and goes behind the defender. It looked like he genuinely knew where the keepers parry would drop. Obviously just a guess but a very intelligent move.

This whole loan thing for Phil just goes to show that for as much as Pep has redefined football in the UK the old ways still bubble under the surface . Take a kid, loan him out to a lower league club, let has been or never made it donkeys kick him from post to post, it's character building you know! Have him taught by a manager who has done nothing in the game that's why he manages at that level, rack up 100 games in as short as time as possible because it's all about "game" time. I hate that phrase, why would a 100 games at lower level beat 50/70 appearances from sub mixed with some starts with a squad of world class players? I don't see it as a badge of honour to have racked up 200 starts before your 20 years old what have you really learnt from that ?
